A George II Giltwood and Gilt Gesso Mirror
Retaining its original gilding and having its original rectangular bevelled plate headed by a broken pediment centered by a cartouche with Prince of Wales feathers above a sunflower. With floral leaf decoration on either side and having a shell motif in the middle of the shaped base.

Stoneleigh Abbey
Founded by the Cistercians in 1154 and acquired by Sir Thomas Leigh, Lord Mayor of London in 1558 who built a house on the site of the monastic buildings. Between 1724 and 1726 a new Palatial four-storey fifteen bay west wing was built to designs by architect Francis Smith of Warwick and provided an impressive range of state apartments. Home to the Leigh family from 1561 – 1990.
